Massage is more than just for relaxation though that is usually
the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of getting a
massage. Oxygenation of the blood is enhanced during massage
work as the blood is pumped through the muscles, which in turn
assists the immune system to be boosted for overall health.
Mt. Shasta is a haven of relaxation with more outdoor activities
to partake in then I care to name in this blog, though a few of
them would make massage a welcomed treat afterwards.
Kayaking, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Swimming, Rock Climbing
are all activities that thoroughly work the muscles of the body,
and most times result in some soreness which massage therapy
helps to release. I have had the privilege of helping many clients
feel better after a long day of play when they've stayed in McCloud
at the McCloud River Mercantile, The McCloud Guest House and
the McCloud River Inn. All of these B&B's have on-site massage in
the comfort of your own suite, and I am happy to visit you there
so you can make your stay even better by relaxing and taking care
of yourself in one of the healthiest ways.
When you book your trip to the Mt. Shasta area and decide to give
back to yourself by booking a massage session, you'll find a wide
variety of massage therapists in the Shasta area. I personally do
the massages at the above listed B&B's, as well as many vacation
homes. Reiki is another specialty that I use in my massage work,
as well Hot Stone massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Deep Tissue,
Aromatherapy and Shiatsu. Seeing clients at my office in Mt. Shasta
is also an option.
I look forward to a busy summer helping anyone who plays hard and
realizes how important massage therapy is for recovery and overall
wellness.
